Good day all. I have a new 30 hp compact utility tractor and need to outfit it with a 60" box blade. And have two questions. First, what are the advantages and disadvantages of a hinged rear board. Second does anyone have experience with a hydraulic side link as opposed to a mechanical screw adjustment type.

I have hydraulic side and top links run off the loader joystick on my JD 3320 ( no loader ). I could never go back to manual adjust. I often ride the fixed rear blade on my 6'' land pride box to take a light smooth cut. Power pitch makes it easy to control depth of cut, really handy when ripping potholes out of gravel drives.
