Have now wonder about the bolts holding the pads on as well!
Crossed my mind to be honest, but i have 1 bay with a mack project in it that is only in first couple phases of repair/rebuild it back up to roadworthy standards, and with the rain i have been cycling all other write ups thru my other bay , meanwhile putting a cat 259 back together that i had about completely torn apart finding a massive draw in the electrical system so that it can go back to the chicken houses in about 5weeks for total house clean outs in all 10 houses. Plus i have a mack ch waiting outside that is another project to make roadworthy again. And i found a bad clutch in a dump truck today after i adjusted clutch i couldnt get it on gear, used my wear guage on it and its totally worn out , had to take almost all the adjustment back out of it leaving maybe 1/2 inch free travel to get it to fully disengage, in thinking it has a warped something going on in it . Good thing that one is sorta one of the spares. So im not gonna stress about those pad bolts the lead guy probably wont listen anyways he had no intentions of flipping the tracks when i brought it to his attention, so i brought it to owners right hand man and let him bring it up to lead guy also.

Well sometime you can only do so much, in that case I think I would send those in power an email note mentioning that suggestion to have a back-up in case there is a problem down the road! C.Y.A.!

If you’re anything like me you file a copy of the procedure “somewhere obvious” and then next time you need it you’ve completely forgotten where you put it....:oops:
Thats why i posted it here, even if i have to go thru all my pages i know its here. As hard as it was to find i will probably remember it for a little while . I need to hook up to the cat side of that and see if that is what turns the light on and what parameters its set for . Truck has alot of road time but it is a fuel truck so it idles a fait bit also

Wife repeatedly tells me she never touches my stuff, watched her move my stuff and avoid her pile of mess as hers was monumental opposed to mine. So awaited her leave to work, rearranged her piles of 'Stuff' without using hands, moved with feet, a broom and dustpan, even a vacuum head. She a week later was stumble fumbling around ranting of MY Touching her stuff where I looked her STRAIGHT on and told her "Never Laid a Hand on her Stuff". She looked puzzled for a minute then I asked if she may have accidentally put that Stuff away, she went and looked then apologized!!! The piles are in process of resuming growth and another round of game on is about to occur.

This tactic goes WAAAYY Back to when I temp foreman'd a shop in San Leandro for Feld. Was in a rental house, trash pickup was every Tuesday early morning, and every Monday evening the cans went out where a local would let his Sheppard loose to crap anywhere but their yard. Dog would knock down a number of cans to loot whatever was edible then we would have to pickup the stuff next morning or trash truck would just pass by.

Had a Wrist Rocket Slingshot, had access to LARGE Ball bearing balls, got pretty good with it out to thirty or so feet. Well got mad and sat awaiting said dog, was gonna sting that SOB really hard when dumped my can, time came, dog out front can on ground and I drew back in a open door aiming at Front Shoulder. As SOON as turned it loose, Dog's head snapped to look AT ME, bearing hit him SQUARE in the forehead and he dropped like a bad habit.

Well I scurried out, dog was DEAD, skull crushed between his eyes, plopped the carcass in my trash can just MOMENTS before trash truck arrived. Trash dumped, truck moved on and for several days heard neighbor calling for his pup, saw me in yard and asked If I saw him. Looked him straight on and stated last Time saw his dog he was in my trash and we both went back to houses!!!! Did NOT Lie to him!

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
For sport I used to sit on the balcony of my apartment in Chile with an air rifle and ping any street dog (and there were loads of them) that came along the street rooting in trash cans. As an accompaniment to a cold beer after work it was quite relaxing, therapeutic even. I could imagine that the mutt was one of my co-workers who’d pi$$ed me off that day.:cool:

Really did not want it dead Just to sting it
The sound that ball made when hit was gut wrenching.

Had to pop it out of the divot in his skull. Still have it in my tool box as a reminder. None of the neighbors ever knew but were glad he was gone.
The owner got a different job and moved in a few months.
