Hope there is something other than the lift cylinders holding that boom up if you are working under it! Do I see a piece of angle iron on the right hoist cylinder?

One of the more major projects:

Can see the wear on the outer rim of teeth from contacting last truck roller when was REALLY loose, sprocket nut had been backed off a LONG time, I managed to tighten it back up several years ago but only until bottomed on threads and then welded the nut retainer to the sprocket, Seal seeps but no running leak, just cannot stand to leave as is.

Well as soon as phone recharges can post up today's work, both Tensioner yokes out and the seals pulled for a match up, Busted bolts in idler frames have been heated Red then have allowed to cool slowly, may get the energy up to drill them out next few days, soaked with PB blaster for now. Went to work on Right Truck, both upper rollers off, managed to remove nut on truck to loader frame bolt, that will be the bear as do not have a method to quality cut the frame and weld back as last seen done on the HD12G. May look for a hollow piston Portapower cylinder once get the plug out of the end of the bolt and figure what size threads.

A little further yet today. Persuaded the truck frame cross member bolts OUT, spoke with JY, will try to organize a pickup borrow of a 60T hollow piston cylinder then build a 1 1/4" 12 tpi puller stud to remove the track frame to loader frame bolt then remove the four bolts retaining the rear frame support arm bushing so can lower to ground.

End cap is off axle end and have removed the nut to pull the bearing, has been almost dry awhile so is a Defined GOOD Point in time to get this done. That one single truck to cross frame bolt has been out and is just snugged back in for now.

Nice progress DMiller. you will have to live another 60years to outlast your loader. Is there a purpose for the holes in the idler? I haven't noticed ones like that before.

Do not know why Allis did that
Every unit of this era are done that way just casting sand release holes best can figure.
Would make easier to repair than solid.
Will be getting metal guards back on to protect the spokes.

Odd should mention, Allis went to a Sheet steel center and Segments on sprocket after this model, even had welded sheet idlers similar to Cat. yet retained the dirt shields for a time.

Have purchased a Used ENEPAC 10k psi hand pump, and a used Power Team 30T dual piston cylinder, should be here next week. Was explained as the cylinder is about all I can expect to fit in the confined space to pull on the bolt. Will still need to make a 1 1/4" 12tpi puller stud and hand nut to go on the bolt.

I hadn't seen those before... I can see where they'd be handy for limited access :)
