hi can anyone help me with my old komatsu forklift it is a fg105 model with nissan/datsun engine, the engine is straining when forks are tilted forward, tilt back ok and up down is fine, steering is a bit heavy too, is there a hydraulic filter or screen in the system cant see any. the hyd oil looks ok

You will have a suction strainer in the tank .You should also have a spin on or in the tank return hydraulic filter .

yes found the filter, its a screw on metal mesh filter looked online cant see any listed for the forklift, very hard to find any parts for this machine!
