Might not be anything related to your Allis but wondered if you or anyone would be interested a couple Allis books I found out in the barn:Allis007.jpg Allis008.jpg

Looking at the second page of the parts book appears to be that the engine these are for was installed in a Whitcomb Locomotive, says Class Service 90 ton Loco.

The three engines this book is for are 1742, 1879 and 2505 cubic inch engines that should be enough to power your saw mill!

If I only had the actual engines I'd make you a good deal!

I love those old buda's :) mine had an issue with coolant unfortunately :( I need at least a liner and some gaskets, etc... for it.

Not pristine but cleaner, will be cleaning Belly Pan and spare Valve cover at car wash where can get away from Sludge and gravel, better soap, hot water, old radiator may make that trip too. MAYBE tomorrow as gonna be over 45 then can start rehab on pan and swap covers, never could stop this one from seeping. Once dripped dry, will install chin and grill, get to setting up jack stands for rails swap, UC work.

More to do today than last few, moved 6" Clean rock pile to leave room for next delivery, did a little rehab on the drive with what I could scour out of terrace ditches then back to Old Allis.

Had salvaged a few Bolting bars off derelict so installed those inside the front frames for bolting up Belly pan and anything else that would wish to be added as screen for engine compartment sides. Allis did not thread many frame holes opting to this style of bar stock that could be more easily replaced. Installed radiator block fillers and grill then the Chin, looking more normal now.

That was yesterday sorry
Forgot to hit send
This was today
Trip to carwash at sunrise removed maybe 30# off radiator and still needs more cleaning, first up valve cover swapped.
Belly pan cleaned up, gas axe hacked the bent sh1t off and replaced.
Still have to add bolting straps for access plate that also needs straightening.

Might want to put something around the bolts to protect them from damage. Anti-seize would be a good idea to prevent them seizing too. Looking at the pics. of your engine, it would be interesting to see how they make up the injector lines. They need to be pretty precise.

Considered pipe Cups around them but afraid would get crushed into them, May add a short lip along edges of Access Panel. Ain't none too Perty but will do as a Belly Pan, better than what was there and all is only 1/4" materials.

Great progress! Belly pan looks good, dirt won't know the difference but your oil pan will be happier for sure!
