Something like that actually helpful under carburetor in old engines with square looking intake manifold. Don’t know about saving fuel but starts easier in cold weather and kinda works better.
I find that a good shiny(clear coat) coat of new paint helps with lotsa issues :) makes it go faster, wind turbulence is lessened, extra ions build up on the skin and transfer into the fuel which helps the ionize 200 percent better when in the combustion chamber!!! So is a win win situation!!! paint co. wins., you wins :)

You can make fun all you want, but those damn things did help in inferior carburetor fuel systems, I had it on VAZ vehicles, which was a Soviet copies of FIAT 124. In Canada the known as Lada. Nyge might come across those darn things too!

In view of postings by a certain new member in other threads, should we be discussing how much fuel we can potentially save by using Energy Polarizers..?
Fuel line magnets may be the next big thing and it would be only fair if HEF members could get in on the ground floor so to speak.
How about fuel and water mixture, should that be added to the list?!?!

I dunno… that's a pretty dangerous compound. Breathing apparatus is a PPE necessity.

The really pure stuff from a mountain spring in small quantities can enhance a good Scotch whiskey... So I've been told by a good friend. :)
