What problems are you having? most of the work we do is always fine grading with the hoes.

I have to tear up CTA and mix it with the good dirt underneath while cutting from 2ft to 5 ft over about 1/8 mile. My work is wavy and will slope to different sides over the stretch i stead of to the same side. Its bot smooth at all. And i have to continuously load the dump trucks while breaking up CTA and trying to slope and grade.

GPS.... :)

Not sure of your particular site layout but is a stick mounted laser an option, i do this when I don't have a ground guy... mainly because I am the ground guy ;) it sure beats jumping out of the hoe every few feet to check grade!

Keep tracks at about same slope you want to finish at. If going in to a low spot fill it in ,going over a pile knock it down . In other words you want to rough grade behind you as you are digging. Only need to be a little wider then tracks

Good day
Some machines are equipped with a floating device this can be useful when grading, you do not say which you have or how the equipment is configured.
Kind regards
