Been running equipment for 53 years haven’t heard that . Technically starting and using any machine is damaging it(wear and tear).

I meant to say sprocket. I dig/tear up CTA over my sprockets bc of the extra weight so i don't bounce around as much. Ive read that digging over them will cause damage but im not really digging.
