It was built by Brent Engineering and worked in Alberta a bit. Then ultimately stored in Edmonton and dismantled 3(?) years ago. Was a neat idea, but in practice had a little trouble.

The first one, I believe was built in Australia. There’s a thread on it as well, but I don’t know enough keywords to successfully search it.

The name on the grader is the clue, search Crossley grader. https://www.hcvc.com.au/forum/oldjunk/16398-crossley-grader-with-tracks

Have any of you guys ran an articulating grader that had the cab on the rear part of the machine?

If so, how was it?

I saw a Case grader set up that way several years ago but never got a chance to run it.

I ran a small Geil years ago and used it for narrow driveways. It was easy to pickup the front end of the ground to turn around. I was ok for light work but not enough weight and power for any real work.
I would think that the 25M was hard to control with so little weight up front with rear pivot point unloading the weight off the beam. I’d be curious to know what his experience was like running it. I read somewhere is at it was dismantled after a couple years of being in use.
