Well RZ I guess you will just have to settle for what it's got now, the BC II 400 sightly juiced. You will take it for a spin first then Darryl.

It wouldn't take long to get used to it. I've driven several old Fuller 5 spds that had strange shift patterns. Most were backed up with a 4 spd auxiliary box, some you had to be careful not to get the sticks twisted together or you would be on the side of the road sorting things out.

A little off topic here. Started watching the Irishman on Netflix. Good show so far, lots of history. There's some beautiful old iron both cars and trucks rolling around in this show.

Just remember-don't shift the main box until your done shifting the brownie on the up shifts, same on the way down but you can skip a few.

I sure do like your stories and pictures. There is only one old early to mid 1960’s yellow KW that you get to see around here. I sure admire you all finding this old stuff in the weeds.

Come to think of it, there are two heavy haul trucks sitting around. One is owned by sawmill, the other is whole different story. The other is a KW I believe. It is in a small town on the MS/AL line. I asked a man from there what such a truck was doing sitting around. He told me that the man that owned it used to be in the clearing business back in the 40’s or 50’s. Turns out he and his brothers built the first KG blade and one of them marketed the idea.

Isn't that one at the bottom originally a Gerosa truck with a 1710 Cummins? They had that one and a huge Mack with a 12V71. Pulled Goldhofer drawbar trailers mostly.
