Nice to know. I know the Pierce loads better as it has two sets of grab arms but I have never heard anything good about the head overall other than its ability to load. The Southstar is essentially there QS600 processor but without the long hanging bracket and with better grab arms. It will Buck just as much wood as the processor counterpart, just you cannot fall with it. I am really considering getting one to eliminate one machine and operator and fuel card on our Landing. For our little yarder only yarding six to seven loads per day I think it would do just fine.
I fall with this one on occasion,it's not easy but it gets it done. I'm running the 635 so its capable of eating a lot of f wood in a day. Seems like we've been getting 10-12 loads a day pretty consistent and if the yarder is decking ahead of me with the grapples I can get more loads than that. My best day so far was 20 something loads. And most were 30+ logs with double ended short logs. They are a very handy machine but all that handling of the logs is pretty hard on it

Here is our newest acquisition. By far the most comfortable cab yet. I have a 38" inseam & can stretch my legs out fully til my knees lock! I actually Had to slide the seat forward to reach the forward travel pedals, I was not stocked up after running it either unlike our Deeres.

Looking back at this picture, can the head be continuously rotated with the oil routed through the rotator? Edit. Because I'm trying to figure out if I can mount a keto off a heel, but the way the hoses attach I reckon they'll tangle round the heel.

hyundai-145-9-harvadig-c-w-ket,39753d44 (1).jpg to make it turn and move around better in rough ground, over obstacles (large stumps), drainage channels etc.

IMG-20191112-WA0009.jpg can push down like this without twisting the head too much, maybe fabricate up a plate that pins onto the lifting eye on the q/hitch. As a thinning machine, any permanent large foot or plate would likely get in the way too much.

Yes, the 623c on the linkbelt has a 360* continuous rotation. Keto's do not. You can run long hoses and get it to make a 360 cycle but must return rotate to unwind them or you will rip the wires out of their junction block. (Done it too many times)

We use to see the small thinning excavator conversions with a foot on them here on the west cost it wasn’t any wider then the back bone of the head.

Hi Skeans, was is a foot in the similar shape to a heel, but without the actual heel flare on the end?

Yes, I’ve seen some videos and pictures of the pin on squirts you have available over there with foot as well. This squirt is a long one but an idea. Just out of curiosity are you required to use the calipers with your keto over there?
