Welcome to HEF Jef !
From what I read here is that you are replacing the race if you need a driver.
When you get the race and bearing take them to a machine shop and have them make the driver.
Or if you can buy some dry ice, put the race in with it for an hour or so. The race will probably fall right in.

We used to put them in the coke machine for overnight, drop right in next morning. LOL
Freezer portion of your refrigerator will also do it.

If we are on the right track here, you may need to get the bearing over the shaft.
(Lay a metal caged shop trouble light on the concrete floor in a clear space.)
Lay the bearing on top of the cage over the bulb;leave it on overnite.
WaLa... Next morning slip it on; at best, ...tap gently with a small hammer at worst.
The text in parenthesis is for fire protection or melting the cheap plastic cage.
Actually 2 to 3 hours in the freezer or on the light will be enough- Like medicine, try and
repeat till well.
