That engine should make a great racing mower for the upcoming lawnmower racesThe truck driver hauling for us said the scrappies planned to put her back together for a fishing trip this summer .To bad im keeping the main engine .
We are cutting to fit 53' low side step deck trailers ,pushing the oversize a bit. The scrap yard is shearing the chunks to a prepared size. All the loads bulk out berfore coming close to weight. At 75.00 / ton we dont mess with it as its a pay job to dispose of the ship. So far theres been nothing over 1/2" thick, most 1/4 and 3/8 so shearing is most effective once its on the ground. How small are they makeing the scrap? Just were it fits on a truck or prepared ? I have cut alot to make prepared and thought the hole time if i was doing the wright thing.
Mostly Plasma cutters. On torches we are using Acetylene , HP O2 and liquid O2. Im old school ,i like my 4' scrap torch .what sort of burners are you using and what fuel
