We are cutting to fit 53' low side step deck trailers ,pushing the oversize a bit. The scrap yard is shearing the chunks to a prepared size. All the loads bulk out berfore coming close to weight. At 75.00 / ton we dont mess with it as its a pay job to dispose of the ship. So far theres been nothing over 1/2" thick, most 1/4 and 3/8 so shearing is most effective once its on the ground.

I know once I picked up a plasma cutter, I turned in my oxy/acetlyne tanks as they weren't really getting used, ended the lease and got a couple B tanks and 125 cu ft tanks that still last me years.

The ship built in 1980 , newer than most of my iron. Heres the id tag on the main engine ,sorry my Japanese is a bit rusty . Looks like its coming to my yard hopefully someone in the world can use parts off it. Otherwise it will add to my pension when the price per ton goes up substantially.
