JD 1010 crawler

would the 2-53 jimmy that came in some 440 crawlers bolt into the 1010? I realize that was not the motor they used in the 1010 just wandered if bolt pattern is the same?

That is something I think you will have to investigate in person. Looking at the parts page pictures of the flywheel housing I would say not, but it would not be the first time the parts page pictures would be wrong.

yes I will likely have to do a road trip. owner tells me previous owner rebuilt the little jimmy sent reverser to a shop to rebuild which they lost? so hard to say what is going on. thanks for the info
