Have a 644H that runs great 90% of the time. It started de-fueling, and at times stalling because of lack of fuel pressure. It has the manual pump on the side of the injection pump, and after manually priming it would fire right back up. I thought it might be sucking air, of have plugged filters. So all the filters were replaced, lines replaced, and the problem was less frequent for quite some time. But now it seems to be recurring (after maybe 20 hours of run time).

It was recommended to put a lift pump on the system, as later models came with electric lift pumps. In order to do so, I need to know what kind of pressure is required at the pump. Is 40PSI sufficient?

If anyone has an idea, it would be appreciated - thanks in advance.
