The backhoe actually is completely functional right now. It has a few leaks, but it drives and loads/digs strong. At some point, I'm going to need to repack some cylinders. I'm sure I'll be looking for some advice at that point.

hey your backhoe looks something like mine I have a 1980 580 C my wiring is all cut up on this from the alt back to the dash the guy that had it cut and clip wires every where is there any chance you might be able to take pics of yours so I can rewire mine and get power back to my dash I have no gauges no cut out nothings he bypass everything just got a key switch to start it and a shut off ole backhoe is strong machine done a lot of work to it since I got it have learn a lot about backhoe let me tell ya but has been fun though if I can get the wiring up and running i'll be in high cotton got brakes now and all cylinder leaks fixed

Is there a way to search this title for a service manual on 580M series I?

If not, does anyone have a pdf they are willing to share? I purchased a case manual that had been ran through a poor copier. The pictures are less than stellar! Thanks

Looking for service/repair manual for a good looking yellow 580CK with shiny orange wheels! LOL... Been getting really lucky figuring out ignition switch/dash wiring with all the safety Items, guages and back, but brakes and steering wheel spraying fluid on me (only if I'm on, in, nearby,
looking or breathing near tractor) are next up to fix. I could really use some documentation for backup! Thank you.
