pins and bushings

I need 3 1/8" OD X 2 7/8 ID bushings to adapt a bucket to my excavator- are these available or do i have to get them machined?

Our local cat dealer (Butler) can search for bushings by size. odds are they can get what you need. There is a great web site some where in the HEF forums. Where you can search by size, but I can't find it.

One little side note, if get replacement bushings, even as will fit pins out of the box will need align bored and sized to fit once installed as hole tends to shrink up once driven in place where also Not always square.

Have you checked at any bearing houses? Those dimensions sound pretty standard for a three inch pin. They can also give you some pointers on the type of materials that are available and how they will mate up with the pin material.
