kubota k008-3 major problem?

hey group. I have an older k008-3 that a mechanic says needs a new engine. all 3 cylinders tested below specs of 200 to 300 psi. min spec is suppose to be 325.

to me the engine runs very well but the problem is that the hydraulics are way too fast making it very jumpy.

forward speed is like a go cart!

do these kubota have a pressure relief valve that may be broken or is there some other cause ?

thanks for the help

New engine for jumpy /fast hydraulics? Doesn't sound right. How do the hydraulics run at a lower engine speed?

hydraulics are good at all speeds but fast for the most part however the boom cylinder does not have enough power.

almost like the hydraulics are each turned up or down incorrectly to each other.

mechanic also said the hydraulic pump is fine

Does the engine bog down when using boom? Boom weak in both directions? Can it push itself up?

the engine does not big down when digging. the boom cylinder is weak when pulling. not sure when it's pushin away.

the machine can pick itself up ok.

thanks a lot for the input, appreciate it

open thinking about the problem: the left and right stick lock does not work. that's the safety lock for the controls. Also when the key is turned off the engine stops instantly. sometime to start it requires pressing the right stick when turning it over otherwise there is a hydraulic pressure build up preventing it from starting.

is it possible or likely that the entire stick control manifold is the problem? meaning that some valves in the mechanism allow too much oil in some lines and not enough in others?

Does the hydraulic pump look original? I wonder if the wrong pump was put in.
I'm guessing this machine has hydraulic over hydraulic controls. Perhaps the pilot pressure is too high.
