Specifically battery powered tools

I would like to organize this mess but haven't been able to find a good way yet. Any solutions or ideas? Is there somebody that makes a good option or does everyone make there own?

Not sure if your drawers are deep enough but I use Kaizen foam inserts. Basically you cut their foam to fit your drawer then you can cut recess's that the tools fit in. They work awesome for keeping everything in place and not bouncing around. But the foam doesn't like heat and it'll actually shrink up a little if you leave it in direct sunlight on a 90 degree day. Just keep the drawer shut.

I the ultimate end " I am not sure there is any hope of organization". Just so much stuff and one keeps finding more that you should carry.

I've seen some nifty "power drawers" for tool boxes, you could probably make something similar for your truck. Most have a power electrical strip built into them and the chargers right there.

Of course I don't have anything like that, I have to go looking all through the shop for the cordless and the charger and the bag, which will all be in three different places.

My drawers already have plenty of stuff in them is the problem. I could probably reorganize some stuff I don't use very often and make some room.

I have seen those racks before that go in toolbox drawers and wondered how the powered tools would hold up to being hung in something like that bouncing around in a truck

I've seen you can buy the seperate parts out of the Snap-on "power drawer" on their site and build your own setup. Also seen folks over on GJ using cut up PVC pipe for stuff like impacts and drills. I had mine organized about as well as the OP just banging around in the long box over the wheel well.

One of our guys has PVC pipe with a slot cut in it and screwed to the bottom of a shelf to hold his power tools

I use slotted pvc pipe screwed to the bottom of a shelf in my shop, in my service truck, it was much like yours.
