New member seeking advice on suitable hydraulic oil options which cost less than JCB Hyd oil. Possibly a “no zinc” AW 46 oil? Also advice on how to flush old hyd oil from the lines, cylinders, valves etc. when changing out hyd oil? Anyone flushed out a system by replacing filters and oil then disconnecting return lines, operating cylinders in and out....catching return oil in a container until all is clean.....while keeping tank topped off with new oil? Thank you in advance for your help.

A good quality AW46 should be ok if it meets JCB's specs.
