I know this subject has been talked about a few times, but instead of hijacking an old thread, I figured I’d start my own.

First things first, I bought a ‘04 f350 4x4 with a 9.5’ Knapheide service body. I’m currently having a 250 gal fuel and 55 gal def tanks built to be flush with the top of the box.

I would like to get rid of the montazuma tool box and either get some wrench and socket holders that I can mount in one of her compartments, or make hangers or something.

My biggest hurdle at the moment is an air compressor. I know the easiest would be a gas powered compressor, but I’d like to not deal with a gas engine.

Ideally I’d like to do a pto driven compressor, but I feel that’s going to be some good money to setup. What about a serpentine driven hydraulic pump and a hydraulic driven compressor? I’d like to mount the compressor inside the the front passenger compartment.

Also, anyone know where I can get new door latches? From Knapheide they were $250 each, which seams about $200 more than they should be. I wish they were the same as a super duty latch.

My old service truck had a belt driven hydraulic pump for the crane and air compressor. New one is a vmac and electric crane.
