Going to have to do my dolly modification, and sooner rather than later. In changes of pitch in roadway, the dolly lifts the rear corner of the crane, and I'm chewing the dickens out of my rear tire. I'm going to put a extra pivot in the dolly stand, and hope that helps. Right now the dolly only pivots side to side, I'm going to add a forward/ aft pivot.
This is in my shop driveway corner last night, where I stopped to unlock the gate. Its not like this all the time, it just pitches down and to the right coming into my driveway. That rear tire is 6" off the ground. When it drops back down, if I'm rolling, the differential has it spinning back wards, and its just knocking out chunks of the tire.
The liebherr seems to be running better the more we drive it. Engine was really doggy at first, but it had been sitting for over a year.
It black smokes real hard under a load in mid rpm, it clears out when running high rpm. I would like to get a boost gauge installed and temporary run to the cab and see what the turbo's are doing. I don't hear them at all, spooling up, but they aren't very big turbo's to begin with, and they are back behind me.
