That's not the serial number. It should have a letter and five digits or two letters and five digits or five digits alone.

What year is it?
Is this a north american machine?
What dash is it ( -2, -8, -10 ect..)

My contact info shows the machine as a Dash 2 and 2006 model. The fact that they had the number listed indicates the machine is likely a North American model.

I am looking at a Komatsu excavator that the seller says is a PC30. It looks like a PC28UU to me though. The serial number is PR01335. Can you shed some light on model and year from this serial number?

I don't have any information on that machine. It is gray market. You might be able to get a Komatsu dealer to give you some information on it.

My source shows it as a 1999 model. My source shows that only SK135SR machines are North American. I'm not real sure if that is true or not.

It is probably a 2010 model unit and probably for the North American market.
