I have junked several of them they all had the same problem rear ends. I have wonder if i could find a better rear end and not have 2 diffrent kinds of wheels.I would like to build a pickup and a old super duty would make a good start.

Are you referring to 10 lug rear/8 lug front? We had an old SDG&E F-super truck that was 4wd, and had the same wheels on all 6. The fronts had a big cast iron backspace adapter with 8 inside and 10 outside.

Been a long time since I have seen one 2wd or 4wd.

I think i saw a 4x4 like that but the 2 WD wasnt. Would adapers put more stress on things? I have a buddy in another state were things are diffrent that was for a long time talked about puting a 1 1/2 ton rear end under a 3/4 pickup and building wheels for 12.00/16.5.

I don't think those spacer adapters put much stress on anything because the only thing that stuck out was the deep dish of the wheel. The tire itself was in the normal place, right under the bearings.
