I hope not!! I have been running it 1/4 to 1/2 throttle in most cases. I know that it does not have DPF, as it has a standard muffler off the turbo.
In my experience most if not all diesel engines benefit from running at full load for at least a part of their operating cycle. Engines that are run consistently at low load almost always suffer from some type of elevated engine wear/high oil consumption and EGR issues for newer emission-related engi. Run the snot out of it for at least 5 mins for every hour you work it would be my opinion.I hope not!! I have been running it 1/4 to 1/2 throttle in most cases.
