Free market has a way of correcting itself every time .

One day it seems like a good idea to let the Dealer handle all the work .

Until ya see the invoices coming in and freight rates have stayed flat .

At that point the business owner will do a quick 180 turn & hire some mechanics .

What I have noticed in the agricultural world is farmers building big shops and letting the dealer handle dealer issues like parts & warrantee work .

Every thing else gets taken care of in house .

One other point … Free Market we are all replaceable .

Feller has to make the decision at the time what's best for them . :)

Yeah but, farmers are b!tchin about right to repair. They're losing ground every year.

I had to go to the old shop the other day.. they had a tool I needed to get a job done..
Those people are SOOO Miserable... They hate their jobs & it reflects just TRYING to carry on a conversation..
I loved working there & rebuilding pumps, but the BS & the day to day grind, with the SAME problems w/ the SAME people day after day & NOTHING being done about it, REALLY takes it toll..
They're down to 17 people from 40.. & only 2 fuel shop guys & MAYBE 5 engine mechanics..
Ya think they're a little "top heavy".?? People sitting behind a desk "face booking" & "shopping" ALL DAY..
driving around in company provided trucks w/ gas cards.. & co. provided credit cards.
& they wanna know whats wrong {attitude} & why they're not makin any money.?? Lol

I have had alot of AC work this week on company and farm trucks. Some truck cabs cant be used to store ice cream but most drivers dont under stand this. I had to pickup some parts on the way to work and when i drove on the lot at 8:30 a truck was running it was still running at noon. After lunch it was shut off i guess it was running so if the driver had to make a delivery he would have the engine warmed up and the cab cooled off. This cant be good on the AC. It wasnt good on my blood presser but i dont pay for the fuel or repairs. The future of the company now rest on my shoulders they have 2 flaibed trucks one i am replaceing a leaky condencer the other isnt all that cool. I had to make a sevice call one time a trucks AC wasnt working and couldnt be drove back to the shop but i some how made it to the truck and back in a pickup with the windows rolled down 9 miles away.

My old company had the contract to service the Navy's LIFE BOATS.. They go in storage "improperly" then wont start when taken outa mothballs..
They send a tech that doesn't know a socket from a wrench down there to do the job..
ANYBODY with any experience can get 4 running in a day.. that was the "standard"..
About 3pm he calls back to the shop to ask one of the fuel shop guys to come give him a hand..
There was 1 guy close by so when he got done w/ his job, he shot right over..
1st thing ya check is> does it have fuel.??
The guy loosens the bleed screws on the 15 filters they have on the boat & starts pumping away on the hand primer..
NO FUEL.. He turns to the 1st guy & says, THERES NO FUEL in the boat.!!!
The 1st guy turns to him & says, "I know, they pumped it out afew hours ago"..
The 2nd guy just shakes his head after a few CHOICE WORDS & walks off..
NOW THATS how u drive a company into the ground.!!
The 1st guy spent 8-9hrs working on ONE boat that had NO FUEL in it & HE KNEW IT.!!!

I could understand downing a machine if its built like a fishbowl in the summer sun. If you're gonna down a highway vehicle with operational windows because the air don't work, well you're some kinda pu$$y.
Way to go Doug, show em how 'men' get it done.
