So I’m trying to buy the flange an adjuster piston/rod for a track adjuster for an ex120-2 I called the dealer but say they can only get the complete assembly. Does anyone know where I can buy just those parts? Everything else is in good working order just the rod is all pitted to **** an doesn’t work in an out well.
Thanks

I checked the part numbers on my local Deere/Hitachi website and they still show as being available. That doesn't say that they are 100% but generally they are. The Hitachi numbers are rod-3034935, flange-3050434. The Deere numbers are rod-TH108872, flange AT154105. The Deere numbers now sub up to the Hitachi numbers. The rod lists for just over $500.00 and the flange about $300.00. Do a bit of Googling and you may be able to find them elsewhere. I've seen some very pitted rods cleaned up with emery cloth and they worked just fine. These type of adjusters use piston rings on the end of the rod and as long as that part of the rod is OK you should be alright. I've also seen the bore worn on the flange and still work fine it's just that it wont keep the dirt/mud out of the bore.

Deere numbers for a 490E are now flange P/N 3050434 ($290), piston 3034935 ($570). I checked and they are available. There are plenty of aftermarket companies that supply undercarriage parts. Like excavator said, google it and see what comes up. Also excavator is correct in that the seals are on the end of the piston and so long as the end of the piston and the inside of the cylinder are OK it should work.
