correct. It takes forever to drain, but the worst part is that if you let dirt build up in the bottom it hardens an due to very little gap between remote drain plumbing where it exits the pan, the vibration and flex of the motor will crack the oil pan.

Ill be doing the oil change next weekend. I have gotten most of the other items worked out. Other than cosmetic, running well.
2 items is like to adress and im good I think.
I wanted to test the a/c. I can tell it's turning on. I get a click from the a.c. system. But its not cold air. Im going to try an over the counter recharge first.
Second, I've got a very minor difference in forward speed on the left stick. Is calibration something best left to the pros on these? Or is there a way to check hydraulic pressure?

I just serviced the drives and fluid was pretty clean. Its a used machine. So I'm not going to be throwing parts. Its Not that much of an effect

A little update.
I thought I was going to have to bring the ctl in for a handle calibration. Or worse some bad drive news. Dumb as it sounds, I pulled up the rubber handle boot. And the wires to the left stick had fallen in the path of the handle itself. Preventing both forward travel and boom lift by quite a bit. Relocated the wires and performance for both functions is night and day better.
I was going to charge the AC. But the actuator switch seems to have gone out. Luckily its not hot out.
I had the cab up for an oil filter change. And the belly was supriningly clean. Another plus.
