Bang them tight with a good impact.

Depends on the bolt diameter. For 1/2" bolts tighten to 90 lb ft, for 5/8" tighten to 180 lb ft.

Make sure mating surfaces are free of any dirt paint etc or it will be impossible to keep them tight
