It depends?

I've never used a mid sized CTL, but with a large I could push out a tandem load of fill in a few minutes, faster going downhill, slower going uphill.

How fast largely comes down to the operator. Like others have said the machine is capable of doing very fast in competent hands. No matter what color the machine is. If it is a 75 hp mid frame machine it is an easy day.

Running what I brung and taking what I win
how many loads of fill should a mid sized ctl be able to rough spread per hour

There are a lot of variables with that question.

What model CTL? A mid size CTL is a relative term among manufacturers.
What type of material? Sand is easier to push than a heavy clay for example.
How big of a load? Single axle, tandem, tri or dump trailer?
How big of a fill lift? A 4' lift is quicker to push off than an 8" lift for instance.
What is the purpose of the final product? Commercial building pad or somebody's back yard?
Compaction testing?

All of those questions have a bearing on productivity.

I just wondered what my productivity was like compared to others. The job I was working on yesterday was filling lows where water stands in a horse pen. Just graded by eye with clean sand as fill material. The machine is a t590 bobcat the loads are trim axle. Thanks for the responses

If the load is placed on the dot where its needed it takes me about an hour, with my ASC RC 30, arguably the smallest sit in ctl...;)

Ive spread up to 35-40 loads { 10 yd } a day. Depends on cycle times. Takes barely 5 min per load with my bobcat t595 and 74 in bucket laying 6-8 inch lifts.
