Did Hayes Trucks, buy their cabover cabs from Diamond T? They sure look like a cabover Diamond T.

Do not know, but Hayes trucks were built in Vancouver BC. I know in the early 70's they used cabs from Mack

Well, the picture of the Hayes cabover posted above, could easily be a Diamond T cabover of about the same vintage, with just a different nameplate/emblem on the radiator.
I see the just posted photo of the early Diamond T, but I remember those flat fronts on some in the early 60's, I think. Of course, that was almost 60 years ago.

I once drove an early 60's K-100 like the lower pic for about 3 weeks during grain harvest in the late 70's. Had a twin stick 4X4 trans setup with some goofy cable shift for the auxiliary box. A bicycle seat would have barely given you enough room to shift that thing.
