pulled plastic check valve out of filter housing, crazy setup, filtering maybe 20% of oil rest going straight to tank, anyway pulled out and started does not chirp, you see case drain at idle, is about 3 times that with both pumps stroked wot, no pressure to speak of just flow, say this b/c hard to tell pressure from video, just measured oil little less than 3 gallons in little under 30 seconds

I would say: need to test the pump - it is both pumps at around 5000 psi. With controls probably trying to destrock the pumps by PRV and Horsepower controls. Destrocking done by draining one side of the servo piston to case!

Need to run “constant horsepower flow” test on each pump separately to really know for sure the “health”of the pumps.

Ok just did what TVA said do, run constant horsepower test on pumps, worked it hard , dig swing walk etc for 20 minutes, no chirp, can tell when hold against stops machine is not straining now, works with more power on 7 than it did on 10 before, hyd oil is running cooler also, gonna order new check valve and compare, it is really a self adjusting restriction, pics are of closed and held open spring collapsed all way ,

here pics, it split, I am like TVA I bet it was one piece and that is what restricted old pump, and was going to get this pump, thanks to Mobiltech insisting on case drain test and TVA having me pull filter housing and check for restrictions the chirp is gone, we sent case drain video to pump rebuilder and asked him his thoughts and he said with both pumps wide open it looks absolutely normal, which was a ''relief'' (get the joke?),

I was expecting to see a heavy shot of case drain flow when the chirp was occuring but no chirp is a good thing too .If it was just internal leakage you were seeing there i would consider that kind of high for case drain but if you add in control valve drain flow its not really bad.
