Hello everyone!
New to heavy equipment but have a decent amount of property and needed it to get things done so long story short, bought a 96 Hitachi EX75UR-3 split boom from a private seller (didn't know it was grey market) and everything went well till we dropped a tree on it. We now have a broken hydraulic fitting that we can't get a part number for (picture attached).

Also trying to determine the difference between the EX75-5 (American) and the EX75-3(Japanese).

Anyways, was just making a hopeful cry for help to see where we can get parts online since John Deere bought out Hitachi & Kubota has a similar machine. This is probably a cringeworthy post but worth a shot.

Any help would be fantastic, thank you all for sticking with me.

There should be an adapter in the hydraulic component that is male on both ends. As for threads I'll guess the external part is BSPP or DIN. Internal looks like o-ring boss - could be metric or SAE depending on who made the part.

Any good hydraulic shop should be able to match it. There are online guides that show all the different thrads and profiles.

Thank you so much! After checking with a few, a shop within reasonable distance said they'd be able to do it. Much appreciated reply!

For what it’s worth, I had a used Hitachi EX60URG grey market excavator that I had serviced a few times by a local Hitachi dealer. I think too from my looking around that they are similar to John Deere machines for parts (may be wrong on that though).

Hitachi used main JIS standart hose end fittings - 30 degrees invertet seat with Withworth thread, also known as BSPP!
The port adapters - the hose side the standart described above
The port side most times will be BSP, same as ORB but Withwotth thread.
