How good does the tool work that undoes truck airlines from quick conectors ? Are they worth the money?

Had a set at the last place I worked
Had about a 50% success rate with them.

The occasional time when I was fighting with a fitting behind the dash, and the pliers fit and they worked, they were awesome.
