Do PTO's interchange with all transmitions. I have a DANA tranny (model # 6352-B) and a CLARK tranny (model# 387V-13)
will the hydraulic PTO interchange? Bolt pattern is the same.

Some do and some don't, would be my guess, not enough info. Post the machine model and serial, and someone will likely know the answer. If they are like the truck trannys, they have to have the gear, in the tranny, and prolly the only way to know for sure would be to pull the cover plate, and see if there's a gear there, then look around, and see if it has a shifter fork, pin and lever, above the gear, for engaging the PTO... While you have the plate off, see if the plate really matches the bolt pattern...;)

And sometimes even if the bolt pattern is the same you may still need a spacer plate to work on different transmissions. What's most critical is that the teeth mesh properly and the lash is shimmed properly.

thank you so much. We live in a very remote part of alaska where you have to be your own mechanic. Any and all advice is welcome.
