The 8x8 forwarders with the separate crane might have a lower center of gravity than a Timberpro clambunk for the hills. Probably fairly expensive to run a timberpro with a widedual setup of 16 tires.
Might need to put a winch on a 8x8 forwarder/ clambunk to pull wood on the hills. A fast travel speed of the multiwheel skidders is the tigercat 625E (230hp)
There have been Komatsu 895 and John Deere 1910 forwarders down south. Possible to convert these to clambunk configuration

HSM 208FC20 steep slope clambunk forwarder - trees a bit match sticky. - BC, Canada
Also the tigercat 8x8 1075C (308hp) forwarder could convert to clambunk, 1075C faster travel speed transmission than a 1085C (308hp) (used in the steep southland gum blocks) . 1075C low 0-3.5 mph and high 0-11mph
