I have a 95 2s. 50 hrs on it. Love it. Painted it black from factory. Got the cab/ac all the bells and whistles. I put led lights on it and a back up camera. No issues so far. Heard of a guy around here with a steering issue, kept pulling to the left but dealer fixed it. I love the quick attach speed, so much faster than 90's. I don't like the new track pattern, tears up ground worse and we cannot seal off ground when we track something in because of the aggressive design. Power is great and ride is ok. Biggest thing Kubota has over others is the door. We have been locked out of a new cat when boom leaked up from machine sitting uneven and had to pull chassis up with a hoe and hold bucket down with another. Kubota doors you can jump in and out. Can't beat Kubota finacing either 0 down 0apr for 60 months. Or 65k for cab/ac/high flow.

I like the black scheme, stars.... Looks sharp! I now have over 400 hrs on my machine most of which are behind the loftness. My machine tracked to the right since the day I brought it home (really bad).I had multiple conversations with the service manager at my dealer but before we actually tore into it to straighten it out the right drive motor went out. It's currently being fixed and I'm using an identical loaner. I can't complain about the dealer service. On my machine there's a loud knocking coming from the front idlers when tracking and I figured that was just the way these machines are but the loaner doesn't have it all. I'm assuming and been told it's the idlers rattling around inside their housing where they slide... Any input? Overall I'm happy with the machine but if I were doing mulching year round I'd spend the extra for a 299/297 or asv.

Flyin' low and rollin' slow...
Yeah, that machine looks pretty cool. I have a 90, but ran a 95 with a mulcher setup for a few days last week. Like stars, I didn't like the tracks. Man those suckers can tear up some ground!

We have one. It’s right at 200 hrs now and been flawless. Plenty power good hydraulics. Cab is noisy but not real bad. I don’t like the tracks either. They’re veey aggressive. If running on grass it’s hard not to tear it up. I would definitely get a different pattern when and if we replace them. If that’s possible. We ran next to a cat 279 I think it was. It had straight bar pattern on the tracks and it was much more gentle on turf

I bought a used SVL-75, with 2500 hrs on it, and I love it. I was lucky enough to find one that was the newest model year, before the emissions systems came into mandate. My attachment arsenal is growing rapidly, because the SVL series, and all CTLs like it, are so versatile. I guess it all comes down to preference. Will you go with a Caterpillar, an american founded company? Kubota, a Japanese one? Or Bobcat, another american company. Kubota, I think is a better engineered piece of equipment, because they thought about the operator, as well, anfd not just efficiency. Caterpillar, however, is still a very well engineered piece of equipment. I refuse to run bobcats, though.

Was mentioning all these DEF related issues on the 95s to my dealer! He has only had 10 come back with DEF related issues? 9 of 10 were operating errors, like putting fuel in the DEF tank (WTF) and long idle times! He says if your doing jobs where in and out of cab frequently is required, turn the revs up to 1/4 throttle seems to do it?? Again only what I'm told, but will elaborate once I get some hrs on ours

I have a 2017 SVL75-2 and it also has a knocking sound from the front idlers. My Dealer service Dept says its normal. Don't like it.

The knocking sound comes from the front idler slide box, as it wears in! Normal

Hysert- I recently threw a track on my SVL75, as in completely off, and now the lower idlers wont stop clicking, even after checking all the bearings, and were all good, might I add. Any suggestions?

I belive the sound you're hearing is the idler assembly moving up and down inside the channel it slides in or out of when you adjust the track. You probably need to remove the track and could probably weld some shims in there to tighten it up.

That's alittle strange? Not sure if you know?? But all the idlers are wet bearings, there is a Allen key boss port on them were you can add oil too. I did all mine once on the 90... they sounded clicky too... Tags your right the front idler slide box is wearing making the knocking sound he discribes

Hi all, just joined the forum. Hysert, any chance you have some more info on resolving issues from a long idle? Fortunately I didn't put fuel in the DEF tank (lols) I did however recently let my SVL 95-2s idle at low throttle to charge up the battery and now get the E9602 error code. The troubleshooting from the manual says my problem is "SCR system error, engine power is limited during operation." and the resolution is "To resolve this error code, use the E:95xx error solution." which of course is dominated by "Immediately contact your local dealer". Would a 1/4 throttle idle potentially resolve this? If I try this is there any chance I make the problem worse? Can I do serious damage to my machine by running it in this state? Looking forward to learning a few things!

Probably needs to go to dealer! I had the E9518 code last summer, dealer replaced SCR with update and 3 knock sensors all under warranty (5yr emissions) $4k in parts and labour, picked it up the next day washed and ready to go! My dealer is fantastic tho
