Can anyone help me on why Dr.zx (pc version) with dr.zx cable is not working on ZX-3? I have tried it on ZX-1, and it works. But, whenever I try it on ZX-3, it always says "Communication Error..".I have tried three different dr. Zx cables and two different USB drivers (3.1.2009.6 and 2.8.2007.9) on my win7 laptop. Still no luck. Even the technician, where I bought the items from, doesn't seem to know why it is not working despite the item advertised to work with both ZX-1 and ZX-3. I would hugely appreciate any form of help. Thank you.

Maybe tool king could send us the software to make the eBay dr zx work?
I solved. There have been three issues that prevent me from working properly. I have tried several versions of Dr.ZX, WinDr, MpDr. Some work correctly only on Windows XP x86 and others can work on windows7 x64. I did not know about everybody so I used an old laptop with winXp x86 that has the tired battery. We used two cables purchased from E-bay and Aliexpress.com and a classic cable series. Any attempt to communicate with the Hitachi ECU failed. I re-installed winXp and it still did not work.
In my case it was a stupid thing. The Hitachi excavator to be diagnosed was stuck in a construction site, demolishing a building, and I did not have access to an AC220V power supply for my laptop. I used a DC12V AC to AC 220V inverter that turned out so much radio noise that any RS232 communication was impossible

Then I selected the good programs and the functional cable. For me, the Palm versions did not work for the ZX280LCN-3.

I also bouth the chinese tool for pc but can't make connection to the zx
does this cable also work with windr zx. its the one with usb.
