How to D/A work out price wise against other manufacturers?

To import now it's astronomical. in my area parts are nill, but then again we haven't needed many, and to consider that two of the machines are twice my age and then some(i'm 21) I think our 4wd is a 6250. i'm not sure tho, i'll grab some pics this afternoon. We looked at a DX(85 maybe?) tractor that was posted on ebay near our area. to bad we didn't get it, it looked like a a decent tractor. right now i'm waiting on a JD 7130 that was supposed to be here a month ago!

There is some support for them in lancaster co. pa. The Amish and mennonite have alot of them usually 40-06 and up. An Agco dealer should be able to help you out parts wise, if not them talk to one of the smaller repair shops that deal with them everyday.

is it an air cooled motor? try taking fuel line off before fuel filter and take off fuel CAP and blow into fuel tank to make sure it is not plugged also on our tractors with inline injector pumps the lift pump is on the side of inj. pump there is a round cover held on with small bolt [ use 8mm wrench] on top of lift pump underneath cover is a mesh screen that has to be cleaned sometimes hope this helps.

i was on a hayride tonight and the tractor pulling the flatbed wagon was a newer agco, i beleive what was once the duetz/duetz-allis line. very quiet diesel, you could hear the transmission more than the motor. dont recall the model designation, it had a cab and i was expecting to find a straight six in it, but after looking at the injection pump it was obvisly a 4 cyl. had front-wheel assist also. would have been neat to hook up to some equipment and tried it out in a feild.
