Hello this is my first post on this forum thanks for having me. I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark value of a 1968-1971 Cat 955K. Also if there are things i should check when going over the machine to make sure it doesn't have any issues that are not obvious.

thanks

Many factors determine the equipment resell value, not just maker of the year. You have to provide a bit more such as meter readings and other general condition.

The value of a machine of this age is in the engine, transmission, and undercarriage. The age is not so important as the wear and tear on these components. Regards, Clark
