Pump bolt solutions

What are some good tools and technique for pump bolts in tight places? It took 3 feet of ratchet/wrench extender hooked onto a 30mm combination wrench to break loose some gorilla tight pump mounting bolts in a very tight area today. It was a major pain and frankly kind of sketchy because the wrench box end did not want to stay on the bolt head.

I think I’m gonna get one of the Snap On torque adapters in 30mm for the next time this occurs but I would like to hear some ideas

I hear your pain, torque adapters do work in most cases but have a look at the 30mm 382-6050 from your
Cat dealer, actually they have a number of 30mm in various configurations labeled for rear engine mounts
And can accomodate a torque wrench or breaker bar, very hand tool for pumps.

Thank you gentlemen I could not any suitable tools in the hand tool catalog last night I didn’t think to look in the dealer tool catalog

I hate that Cat has such a variety of useful stuff but it can be scattered and poorly cataloged (many of the hand tools just have a part number and a poor description, no photo). We can’t use a solution if we don’t know about it
