Hmm. So how was a supposedly remaned engine full of scale and core sand? And the liners were out of it 3 times and no one noticed? I thought the oil cooler was new with the reman engine?

I feel like every answer brings up 10 more questions.

Lets have a video of it working. We are all waiting for it. I'm glad they came to the plate. Sounds like this mess finally got forced on to the right person whom could and would make the right decision. I do wonder whom gets blamed behind the wall?

Now that it seems to be headed toward a positive outcome....who's going to come up with the next train wreck...?

I'm glad it worked out. Whether it seems like it or not we were all pulling for you.

The outcome that was achieved IS what WAS supposed to take place THE FIRST TIME the engine/machine was dropped off..
Happy for you Steve but what a nightmare.. Be sure to get the "warranty" IN WRITTING!!!!
& be sure to ask if the warranty is ONLY w their scheduled service..

Good for you Steve. Your patience paid off. What a strange chain of events in the entire rebuild procedure from the very beginning with Capitol's re-manufactured long block.
Who is "the professional analysis team" ??

They are a professional team of analysts who are involved in solving problems associated with an engine failures where the cause is in question, undetermined.
