I only hauled it once behind the dump truck for a short distance. To much weight to wide. Don't know exactly what I was grossing but somewhere between 87 and 90,000 lbs. Close to legal except overweight, over width and over height!

I guess laws vary, but 100% legal here. I'm only at 13'2" height, legal is 13'6". Scaled in once at 92,500lbs, which I was over on the trailer but easy to get legal by putting extra buckets in box. Width is irreverent, the loads not changing width with a different trailer.

I'm so happy I went with the tag, it's so much nicer, and not having a truck sitting 90% of the time because i'm only moving the machine on average once a week.

The only move I regretted it was a out of town job, 3 hours on the highway I did wish that move I had a lowboy. But the other 99% of the time, it's so much better then a lowboy.

CalTrans has a lot of two axle dumps and they often pull three axle tag trailers for their loaders. The drywall delivery company has a flatbed tandem axle but they had to get the three axle trailer for their reachlift due to the machine's CG, bridge rules and the tongue wt. Going to the jobsite they have all that drywall on the truck bed but on the way back to the yard just the reachlift on the trailer. Maybe they load it in a slightly different spot depending? will ask next time I meet up w the driver.
