currently setting up my service pickup for working on mine sites, what side are you suppose to run the whip on? i have seen them on the left side in the USA and the right side up in CAD?
Most trucks around our area are setup in the middle if they are permanently in the up position, or left side for easier access for the driver is it’s the fold down type.
Most mine pickups where I’ve worked have been mounted in the middle on the headache rack and as a contractor we had them mounted right rear corner of the box with a hook mounted on the front left of the box to tuck the whip under when off site/ not in use. This way you don’t have to walk around the truck to put your whip up.
