strait or angle blade

got a lgp dozer with angle blade 15 foot, if i angle its 14 foot i was thinking of putting strait blade on, i do bush work piling gravel little dirt work what or the pros and cons of eather one,for hauling it around with permits right now is a bit of a pain.have to have it angled or i need an escort vechile.thanks

The angle blade is nice for fine grading large areas, but I prefer the straight tilt blade for general purpose work. Straight tilt blade is better for penetrating when ground is harder. Easier to transport too.

I have noticed in western Canada it seems the angle blades are more prevalent for some reason.

D6H lgp just bought it yes don't see any strait blades in my area got d6d nice cat just wanted bit more horse power and a cab as age creeps up on the cold starts gettin to me.Are they heaver blade.

usally in the spring not to much bout 6 miles unless we get lots of snow.Lots of ditching going on tree clearing so water comes faster and more of it.

There were lots of angle blades around our way before. Straight blades have become more common. We had a 16 foot angle blade on our D6R LGP. Went back to a straight blade. We like it way better. Less maintience and fixing. Way better for bush work as the blade is closer to the front of the cat.
