I changed out both lift cylinders and the 4 hoses today. started about 10 Am and finished at 7 PM. I will feel some pain in the AM when I get up. The backs of my hands look like they have been beaten with a hammer, it's a tight little bugger. I did have to remove one hard line that is right in front of the hose attachment point on the rear right hand side for the line going to the front of the cylinder. You need a crows foot socket to remove this line. Tied a heavy string to the old hoses before I dropped the cylinders off. I made the new hoses about 2 inches longer than the old ones and after pulling the hoses through I could lay the cylinder on the fender and hook them up inside the engine compartment. A helper would have cut about 2-3 hours off of the job. No leaks amd the old lines had the outer cover rubbed off to the wire. I will save the old cylinders and re seal them at some point in the future for spares. Next hose change out will be the lines going over the back of the boom as I observed one of them has a worn spot. These hoses will need to come from the OEM as they have convoluted bent tubes on one end. Tip remove the hood and hood attachment plate as one part, 4 small bolts and one person can lifit off by them selfs.
