The movie was based on a series of stories published in the Saturday Evening Post. If I'm not mistaken, the movie was entitled Alexander Botts, Natural Born Salesman and it starred Joe E Brown. I would like to find a copy of it myself.

I just googled Alexander Botts and there are a number of reviews of the movie. The film was entitled Earthworm Tractors and not Alexander Botts, Natural Born Salesman. You might want to check Amazon.com or any of the other movie sites to see if theres anyone with a copy.
