Hope some one can help i bought this machine in 2002 factory recon by genie thats they said. Machine is a 2000. Hyd outriggers, blue boards were installed under warranty in 2003. I have replaced the overlays, base in 1-2015 platform last year seems like i am replacing overlays every couple years starting to getting really expensive machine is stored in side i am a electrical contractor . Not a lot of people use it low hrs, last year i was having problems with out outriggers going down and not going up located that problem white amp plug on control box was missing locking collar so pins were not fully engaging. Replaced amp plug and new pins worked fine after this fix Seem like every other time is one or other overlays is bad shows a code . Now the out riggers will operate down pushing extend and one rigger at a time not auto and none will retract at all it is not showing any codes. I took The lower control cover off and unhooked plug of overlay and ohm metered all the overlay switches it checked out. Controls acted up a little before this but started working . My next step is double checking the plugs and pins . genie over engineered this machine is the new control box worth it if is a clean machine. Not worth much not running .

ive had similar problems with mine always disconnect batteries from each other and load test them. cant get quality battery anymore. low voltage even tho meter shows 24 or more there isn't enough amperage and causes many oddities. not that this is whats wrong Im just saying after owning one for 10 yrs now its first thing I check

STOP trying to maintain the old systems on TMZ34 unit. It will cost you more money in the long run (new boards and membrane pads every year) than just updating to the retrofit kit. (also, getting replacement boards for these units are getting harder and harder to get)

Contents of Kit 104867
For use on models with manual outriggers
from serial number T3498-001 to T3499-769.

Contents of Kit 104866
For use on models with manual outriggers
from serial number T3400-001.

Contents of Kit 104855
For use on all models with hydraulic outriggers.

This kit will replace the circuit boards with relays, diodes and, resistors. and the membrane pads with actual push buttons. (No more angry pixies trapped inside F.M boxes) I've attached the install instructions to give you an idea of what your infor.
**** If you have a TMZ50, I'm sorry for you and may gods have mercy on your soul.****

Johndoe, can you clarify the circuit board versions for the various TMZ 34/19 years? Mine is T3402-119 (made in 2002, serial #119). It has all blue boards in it now. Would it originally have had green boards in it or was it outfitted with blue boards when it was new? I was thinking the blue boards were the latest greatest upgrade for my model year. Does the relay style control system supercede my blue boards? I checked out the price. Wow. Just want to know if the relay style control system applies to my particular unit. Thanks!
BTW my unit does have hydraulic outriggers.
