I am in the market for one so I just want to be prepared. Would I have to have an attachment with a hydraulic hookup mounted or can there be just a bucket and if I press it chances are it will be high flow. I read that they can manipulate the software so best would be to do a visual check, but I just would like to know for reference for when I look at some
on a bobcat the hi flow option must be turned on through service analyzer software (available to dealers only) all LH panels are the same, so the button is there for that option.
if the light comes on it probably has hi flow installed.
the machine may have a hi flow decal on the rear uprights, or somewhere near the hyd couplers.
I appreciate the help man thank you. A visual check on lifting up the cab is the best way I read. Now would I have to have an auxiliary attachment hooked up for the button to light up? Or can it just have a bucket mounted and if I press the button it will light up? Dealers are all closed today and yesterday or else I would of called them, thank you
like i said, the button is there on all the panels, if it's equipped with hi flow the light will light up when the button is pushed.
a visual inspection works, IF you know what you're looking for...
bobcats that have the aux coupler block have the 3rd coupler installed, hi flow or std flow, makes no difference. true, some have larger tubelines, but not all models. couplers have been the same flat face type & size since the G series was introduced around '99-2000. some hi flow models also use a larger hyd oil filter, and larger oil cooler lines.
the OP was asking specifically about an S185...without any reference to the specific series of machine.
