New here, hope this is in rite forum? My NH skidsteer has served me well for past 10 yrs, I have had to replace a few hard to get at hyd hoses, a hole in the fuel tank, and a couple of boom pins. Now for some reason when starting this morning it would not fire up. Went thru the glow plug "countdown" "beep" turned key for ignition and turned over for 'bout three seconds and stopped. Turned key back off, waited 10 seconds (had to do this when very cold) and turned key back on for new count down and no lights and no countdown and nothing. Checked fuses in overhead console and in the engine firewall, all was well. Then checked battery, good, then jumped across to see if starter to solenoid ok, it engaged. What is going on here? Nothing in the manual. Any help out in skidsteer land? thanks

We have the John Deere version " 8875 " of the New Holland 885 skid loader .
My first guess was battery / terminals & bad connection . Sounds like you covered all that .

Here is the troubleshooting chart out of the JD manual for " no start " condition .

All in all been pretty happy with the machine over the years , mostly just small issues like hydro hose . Had to reseal the rod gland on of the bucket cylinders last summer . My biggest mistake when we bought the 8875 is I should have bought two of them :)

Great !
Sounds like a broken wire or bad plug connection in the wire harness / fuse box .

Keep us posted as if it can go wrong it will sure happen to me every time . :)
